Wow, so much pear goodness. Have you ever tried dried pears? So yummy!
Next weekend we are visiting our spinning friend and going to give the drop spindle a try!
Way to go on finishing your pears! As my husband put it they create “pear pressure.” It is a great relief to have them processed and yet left me a little disappointed that I didn’t relish the process a bit more. Home schooling and doing lots of canning at the same time is just tiring – but a nice satisfaction in the end. The pears sure are tasty! I do hope you enjoy yours.
Oh, that is so much work!! I have grand ideas for canning and finally bought a proper canner this fall, but find the energy lacking and mental willingness focused on other projects. maybe next year…. Or we’ll come visit you this winter!
